Pau is a city located in the southwest of France, along the northern edge of the Pyrenees, about 85 km from the Spanish border. Walking along the Boulevard des Pyrénées, in the city center, pedestrians can admire the countryside and enjoy a panorama of the mountains on a clear day. The boulevard leads to the castle of Pau, the birthplace of Henry IV, King of France and Navarre. It exposes today tapestries, furniture and works of art of the time.
