The Ehujarré Gorges are the result of the erosion of limestone rocks by the water coming down from the surrounding peaks. Carved into 70 million year old Upper Cretaceous limestone, the Ehujarré Canyon is one of the wonders of the Basque Country.

Like its neighbor Kakuetta, it is worth the trip alone, but can be used as an access road to the upper plateau for a royal road to Lakhoura.
